Purple Foot Festival

The event celebrates the harvesting of the grapes and offers authentic old world grape stomping. It has been called the largest grape stomping festival in the eastern United States. The event is held regardless of the weather.
Guests will enjoy an interactive and unique experience including:

Associated with the event, is a 5k run/walk the day of the festival, called the Purple Foot People Chase. The 5k race is a fundraiser of Bethany House, which servers homeless women and children. Race registration begins at 9 am at Casa Larga with the race beginning at 10 am. Race entry fee is $18 in advance and $20 day of race. An entry form is available at Casa Larga’s website.
“Purple Foot festival is the kick off to harvest and our harvest season. We invite families to come out and stomp grapes as a tribute the way they used to do in the old Country,” explains Andrea O’Neill, Casa Larga Operations Director. “Come out and experience an Italian way of living with food, wine and family.”
