New York Wine Country - Lakeshore to Seashore
Wine Country now encompasses more than half of New York's counties running all across the State from the shores of Lake Erie to the tip of Long Island.
In order to help you find your way to the wineries nearest you (or the wineries you want to be near) we have provided maps for all of the major regions in wine country.
New York wine country is expanding every year...Please note that the Lake Erie section of this site now also has a map for wineries in the newest officially designated region - Niagara Escarpment. We think it is exciting for the western region of New York State is now expanding so quickly with wineries on both sides of the great city of Buffalo and mighty Niagara Falls. There is a rich tradition of grape growing in western New York and we are pleased to see winemaking expanding there as well.
Click on the main region you are interested in (and then if necessary, on the sub region) and you will get a map of the wineries located in that particular area. You can get a printable version of the map with a list of wineries and start planning your visit right away!
Please note that the Finger Lakes and Hudson River regions cover such a large number of wineries and a large geographical area, that we have created sub region maps for the various lakes and the west or east side of the river.
