Most recently\, SLF was detected in Romulus\, New York in the Finger Lakes region. The Departments are working closely with partners on the state and federal levels on measures to combat the population\, control its spread to other areas of New York State\, and protect New York’s agricultural crops. \nAs adult SLFs emerge this summer\, New York State has been hearing concerns from New York residents regarding SLF control. State officials and Cornell experts will share tips with residents on how to combat SLF on their properties\, as well as information on the SLF’s life cycle and what to expect for the rest of this summer and through the fall and winter seasons. The Department of Agriculture and Markets will also showcase its use of drones as one tool in the fight against SLF.

Throughout this experience she gained an in-depth understanding of route to market and commercialization in all markets across Canada. She has strong relationships with liquor boards and retailers nationally where she has built wine and spirit brands with suppliers from around the world. Andrea is currently a member of the Board of Directors for Drinks Ontario\, the provincial trade association representing agents\, producers\, importers and trade offices\, offering a credible voice on trade\, regulatory and policy issues. \nMelissa Stunden.Melissa comes with experience as a certified sommelier and years of managing regional and national restaurant accounts at a leading wine agency. She started her career in beverage alcohol working at a local winery in Niagara and went on to complete her sommelier education to work at Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment\, one of Canada’s largest food and beverage outlets. Get ready to treat yourself while shopping for others\, crossing gifts off your list as you sample before you buy. Your magical Holiday Shoppers Card will save you money\, and you’ll receive a souvenir wine glass\, a set of whimsical souvenir ornaments (one ornament per winery)\, wine and food pairings\, a digital recipe book\, and $5 off a $35 wine purchase at every winery. Join us in our gnome-filled wonderland for a delightful Holiday Shopping Spree! \n\nNovember 23 & 24 and December 7 & 8\n10:00am to 5:00pm\n11 participating wineries\nThis event is structured like our pre-2020 events:\n\nSelect a specific starting winery for you and your friends to start at. (This is where you’ll receive your souvenir wine glass and your hand-blown ornament!)\nTravel the trail as you please after your first stop\,\nThe ticket is good for BOTH days\, so feel free to spread the wineries out over both days or come on just Saturday or just Sunday. (Pro-tip: Sunday tends to be a lighter day\, so the wineries won’t be as crowded\, which makes for an excellent time to visit and get more one-on-one attention with less waiting.)\n\n\nGroups are limited to 12. If you ignore this limit\, you risk being turned away from the participating wineries. Please help us make this event as fun and pleasant as possible for all by respecting the event policies and winery staff. \nExpect diversity. Some wineries will be offering the standard bar tasting while others will be offering a sit-down experience* that may take longer. Take your time during the day and enjoy both!\nTickets are non-refundable.\n\nTickets: \nEach ticket is good for the whole weekend to visit each winery once.
