SUMMARY:Building a Corporate Gifting Program
DESCRIPTION:There are gifts and then there are corporate gifts. What’s the difference? Reach! Chances are when companies purchase gifting options\, these gifts will be distributed to over ten recipients in one pop. It’s the difference between tin cans & string and a megaphone. \nHaving a corporate gifting program for the holidays (and perhaps all year round) is a great way to connect with more consumers on an exponential level. To ensure success\, it’s important to think through the details and plan early. \nCompanies give gifts to enhance their relationships and stay ‘top of mind’ with their clients. What better way to build a lasting\, valued relationship than through a gift of wine from New York? It is also good business. On average\, companies spend $44 each for employee gifts and $48 each for client gifts and 25% of companies will spend over $100 on each employee gift. SUMMARY:Terraview: Technology Solutions for Viticulture
DESCRIPTION:Terraview provides a cloud-based platform that combines viticulture knowledge with machine learning and artificial intelligence.\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout this event\n\n\nJoin PhillIp Garrison\, Terraview’s Regional Manager for North and South America\, for an overview of this cloud-based platform that combines viticulture knowledge with machine learning and artificial intelligence to produce a self-learning\, easy-to-use and intuitive operating system\, exclusive for vineyards. Terraview’s operating system and its companion app\, Vine Click\, assist viticulturists in their decision-making\, to better predict harvest yields\, future disease/fungi impacts\, more smartly manage irrigation and more efficiently manage work at the vineyard. \nThis session will give a brief history of how Terraview came to be\, along with a demo of the platform itself. \n? Click Here to Register\n\n\nAbout our Presenter: Born and raised in South America\, Philip moved to the United States to study Economics at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. For 6 years he worked at several branches of a multinational logistics company\, leading the commercial effort for transportation of project cargo\, soft commodities and base metals\, and becoming the youngest branch general manager in the company. At age 30 he joined the wine industry as the general manager of a wine store in mid town Manhattan. A new passion was born. After tasting a few thousand wines and taking a variety of wine courses\, most notably WSET’s Advanced Level 3\, he decided that a retail store was too confining. He opened his own import company\, created an impressive portfolio of boutique wineries from South America\, trained a sales team for NYC and established a network of 15 distributors throughout the country. After 7 very successful years\, changing market conditions led him to seek cooperation with larger wholesalers\, resulting in 7 more years of of wine sales in different roles ranging from wine consultant to regional manager to national sales manager.\nPhilip now joins Terraview with the excitement and motivation of bringing an innovative solution to the viticulturists and winemakers that are the cornerstone of an industry that has given him so much.
