Race for the Greenway 5K Run/Walk: Presented by Long Island Wine Country

Presented by Long Island Wine Country, you’ll run or walk your way through Hallock State Park and then sip your way through the region’s best vineyards at our after-party wine crawl.
Proceeds will go towards creating the Long Island Greenway, a biking and pedestrian trail that will stretch nearly 200 miles from Manhattan to Montauk, and towards Harvest East End, whose vision is to unite our community in an effort to establish Long Island as a world-class destination for premium wine. You can Race for the Greenway to make it happen! All are welcome!

Experience a stunning off-road trail run through some of Long Island’s finest scenery. You’ll pass beaches, vineyards, hidden ponds, and tranquil forests on mostly flat terrain. Runners, walkers, and people of all abilities can join this event. No pets, strollers OK but note there are terrain differences throughout the course (loose gravel, grass) Participant shirts guaranteed if you register online by 10/16 at midnight!

 

AWARDS:

*The top 3 winners in each age bracket over 21 will receive a bottle of wine. 21-30, 31-30. 41-50, 51-60, 61-70, 71+

*The top M/F overall (over 21+) will receive a special magnum bottle of Long Island Wine.

• Additional age group award to top 3 M/F winners under 21.

Kids Fun Run: $10.00 (plus card fees)

Kids Fun Run is open to children 12 and under.

 

5K Run / Walk :$35.00(plus card fees register online by 10/27 @ 5pm)
