Upper Hudson is the newest American Viticultural Area in New York. It is surrounded by the Adirondack mountains, Taconic’s and Catskills making it an outdoorsman’s paradise. A continental climate, humid summers and cold winters lead to challenging growing. With the introduction of cold climate grapes, and a pioneering spirit our winemakers have, the perception of what local vineyards can produce is well received. In a few short years we are producing award winning wines.
