With the complexities and new business realities of 2021, professional finance and tax tools for New York’s wineries and growers are needed now more than ever.
To assist our members with critical questions on tax planning, inventory accounting, general accounting, excise tax//TTB issues and sales tax, the New York Wine & Grape Foundation is pleased to offer a new benefit for Tier 2 & 3 Winery Members as well as Growers, in partnership with Mengel, Metzger, Barr & Co. LLP.
These members now have access to financial and tax guidance in webinar form, as well as through individual consulting for their specific needs provided by Anthony G. Sandonato, CPA/ABV, CVA, Esq. via a 60-minute individual consulting session.
How will it work?
- First – Listen to the pre-recorded session “Year-end Financial Planning and Current Hot Topics” Webinar.
- Second – Check your membership status. While the webinar is available to all NYWGF Members, the individual consulting is only provided to Tier 2 & 3 Winery Members as well as Grower Members.
- Third – Complete the intake form to sign up for a consulting appointment.
The Fine Print
Each winery requesting a one-on-one consult must have attended in person or confirm they’ve listened to the pre-recorded session noted above. Individual consultations will be scheduled on Tuesday afternoons between 1:30pm and 5:00pm or Thursday mornings between 9:00am and 12:00pm. If these times are full or are not conducive for you, every effort will be made to identify a mutually agreed upon time. Individual meetings will commence on December 8th and continue through February 12th, 2021. Meetings will be paused until April 15th (after tax time!)
