The New York Wine & Grape Foundation (NYWGF) is pleased to announce a new partnership with Crush Wine Experiences to elevate the B.E.V. NY Conference and New York Wine Classic Awards Ceremony in 2022.
To accomplish its mission and meet industry need, NYWGF leads important educational and promotional events each year. Scheduled to take place from March 29th, 2022, through March 31st, 2022, B.E.V. NY is the annual grape and wine conference presented by NYWGF, Cornell’s Finger Lakes Grape Program and the Enology Extension Laboratory. B.E.V. NY will be a hybrid event, with March 29th being held in-person (Rochester, NY) and virtually, and the subsequent days being held virtually.
The New York Wine Classic wine competition celebrates a diverse selection of world-class wines from producers within the State. Judging will be conducted over a 4-month period by the Beverage Testing Institute (BTI) in Spring 2022, and the awards ceremony will be livestreamed in Summer 2022.
“We are extremely excited about our partnership with Crush WineXP,” said Sam Filler, Executive Director at the New York Wine & Grape Foundation. “We are constantly striving to improve our services to members and to the industry. We believe that Crush’s event experience, technology chops, and passion for New York wines helped them stand out. We expect great things from these events and invite everyone to tune in to watch what happens.”
“We are absolutely thrilled and honored to be working with NYWGF on these high-profile 2022 events,” noted Sam Kimball, Founder of Crush WineXP. “Both the B.E.V. NY Conference and New York Wine Classic Awards are very important to New York State’s wine industry. Given that our team’s home base is New York, we have a particular fondness for all the wines and wine producers across the state.”
