The spotlight is on New York’s finest wines as the New York Wine & Grape Foundation (NYWGF) prepares to unveil the winners of the 2025 New York Wine Classic on Thursday, July 17th at 6:00 PM EST. The prestigious awards ceremony will be streamed live and hosted by acclaimed wine expert Wanda Mann, East Coast Editor of The SOMM Journal and founder of Wine With Wanda.
The highly anticipated event will honor standout producers from across the state, announcing winners of the Governor’s Cup (Best Wine), Winery of the Year (Best Overall Showing), and Best in Category awards. Open to the public and free to attend, the virtual celebration offers wine lovers a front-row seat to discover which wines and wineries are setting the standard in 2025.

This year marks the fourth consecutive partnership between NYWGF and the Beverage Testing Institute (BevTest), whose expert sensory panel of sommeliers, beverage directors, educators, and industry leaders judged submissions from wineries statewide. This year also marks the second year that Wanda Mann, one of the top wine professionals in the United States, will be hosting this awards ceremony.
