Hazlitt 1852 Vineyards Releases Podcast

Shannon Hazlitt Harts hosts interviews for an insider look into winery life.

Hector, NY – Hazlitt 1852 Vineyards has released a new podcast: Great Times Behinds the Wines. The podcast is hosted by Shannon Hazlitt Harts, daughter of Hazlitt’s Co-CEO & Owner, Doug Hazlitt.

Great Times Behind the Wines explores many topics, from wine tasting tips to harvest. “Listeners will learn about the people, methods, and stories that have made Hazlitt winery a leader and also, the collaboration and friendliness of the Finger Lakes wine region,” Harts shared. Each episode is meant to educate listeners in an informative, approachable way for anyone that enjoys or wants to learn about wine. The first few episodes feature interviews with Hazlitt’s Tim Benedict, V.P. of Cider & Winemaking; Michael Reidy, Vinifera Winemaker; and John Santos, Vineyard Manager. Future episodes will feature other members of the Hazlitt team including, Doug Hazlitt.

Hosting a podcast has been a dream of Harts’ for many years. “I’ve always believed there is something intriguing about the world of wine and I’ve always been inspired by how Hazlitt pours its passion into the process of winemaking,” she said. “I decided these were the perfect stories to tell on a podcast.”

Great Times Behind the Wines is currently available to listen to on Apple Podcasts or wherever you download your favorite podcasts. A trailer and 4 episodes have been released with 8 more planned to be released throughout the year.
