NYWGF Issues RFP for Comprehensive New York Wine Course & Reference Guide Update

Proposals are due by 5pm on September 24, 2021.

The New York Wine Course and Reference Guide was originally developed in the 1980s by the New York Wine & Grape Foundation as the definitive guidebook for wine educators and other wine professionals on the history, AVAs, varietals, winemaking styles, and trends in New York wine. We are excited that the audience for this information has grown and evolved since its last revision in 2017, as have the channels by which people seek it out.

New York wines are now worldwide. They are increasingly available in the international markets of Canada, Europe, and Asia and information about the wines, and our grower community, is frequently sought after by global trade, media, and consumers wanting to learn more about our exciting, up-and-coming region. NYWGF is seeking a consultant to complete a comprehensive technical review and update of the guide, provide copy editing for tone and voice and, finally, core educational modules to serve global trade and consumer audiences.

We invite you to review the Request for Proposals and respond if you feel the scope fits your company’s strengths. The full RFP and information can be found HERE.
