Grilled Chicken with White BBQ Sauce

This month’s collection of delectable recipes is inspired by May Is American Cheese Month! and the onset of one of the most beloved holidays of the year and unofficial start of the summer – Memorial Day.


  • 2 pounds bone-in chicken
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup oil
  • 1 cup white vinegar
  • ½ to ¾ cup lemon juice
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • 3 teaspoons salt
  • 3 teaspoons poultry seasoning

Combine egg, oil, vinegar, and lemon juice in blender. Add salt, pepper, and poultry seasoning and blend for additional 10 seconds. Place chicken in ziploc bag with sauce and marinate for 24 hours in refrigerator. Grill marinated chicken, turning and basting several times until internal temperature reaches 165° F.
