New York State and Regional Wine Associations Unite to Provide Expanded Access to Educational and Business Development Resources

Penn Yan, NY – February 28, 2024 – In an exciting collaboration between the New York Wine & Grape Foundation (NYWGF) and the Finger Lakes Wine Alliance (FLWA), 2024 promises new opportunities for educational and business growth for wineries and grape growers across New York State.

Beginning in March 2024, NYWGF members will have the opportunity to participate in FLWA Spring Roundtables and Workshops, events which were previously exclusive to FLWA Members.

In addition, NYWGF is pleased to extend its Spring educational offerings to FLWA Members. Beginning April 9th, NYWGF will launch a series of 5 webinars designed to help participants improve their online visibility, boost sales, and enhance their grant application skills.

This collaborative effort will benefit wineries and growers alike by providing them with the tools they need to thrive in the competitive wine industry landscape.

“Collaboration is the hallmark of our industry, and we aim to set an example with our partnership,” Said Sam Filler, NYWGF Executive Director.  “Both NYWGF and FLWA are dedicated to a similar mission. By working together, we hope to serve more members of our community than ever before. We believe this will be the first of many future collaborations between NYWGF and FLWA.”

Executive Director, Kyle Anne Pallischeck, shares Filler’s optimism. “Aligning our efforts and expanding membership benefits will be the building blocks in our partnership,” she said. “To collaborate in a way that increases the value of each organization and strengthens our community is intentional and advantageous work.”
