Regional gatherings invite industry members to share perspective and help shape the future of New York wine
The New York Wine & Grape Foundation (NYWGF) will host a series of Regional Listening Sessions this spring, bringing together wineries, growers, industry professionals, and partners from across New York State for open conversation about the opportunities and challenges facing the state’s wine and grape industry.
The sessions are designed to strengthen industry collaboration while ensuring that the Foundation’s programs and initiatives reflect the needs of the wineries and vineyards it serves. Attendees will hear updates from NYWGF leadership, including key insights from the recent Industry Leadership Summit: The Up State of Wine, and will have the opportunity to share regional perspectives that can help inform future priorities.
“These Listening Sessions are an important opportunity for us to hear directly from you,” said Sam Filler, Executive Director of the New York Wine & Grape Foundation. “Our industry is evolving quickly, and meaningful progress depends on strong collaboration. By bringing conversations into each region, we can better understand local challenges and opportunities while ensuring that our work reflects the voices of the entire New York wine and grape community.”
In addition to discussing industry insights and emerging priorities, attendees will receive a preview of NYWGF’s new Member Portal, a new platform designed to streamline access to member benefits, industry resources, and NYWGF programming.
“Connecting with our members and industry partners is at the heart of what we do,” said Jennifer Cooper, Membership Manager at the New York Wine & Grape Foundation. “These sessions create a welcoming space for growers, winemakers, and industry professionals to share their ideas, ask questions, and help shape the programs and services that support New York’s wine community.”
Each Listening Session will include lunch or light refreshments and provide time for networking and informal conversation among attendees.
