Overview
Join the New York Wine & Grape Foundation and the Wine Industry Sales Education (WISE) Academy for a special Community Forum Series designed to help New York wineries optimize the guest experience as they grapple with different, and ever-changing COVID-related challenges. Things are constantly evolving, and we want to quickly share what we are learning and identify best practices – which promises to be a fluid process. While many associations are hosting Town Halls focusing on compliance, WISE and NYWGF will complement their efforts by helping wineries deal with Tasting Room hospitality issues. NYWGF is pleased to be offering this as an opportunity for our community to learn, engage, and problem solve.  Staff and board members of Wine Trails or Regional Association partners are also invited to participate.

About the Community Forum Series
In this series, WISE and NYWGF are offering three, 90-minute conversations in a problem-solving forum to help optimize the guest experience as wineries adjust to COVID-related challenges. Now that many tasting rooms have reopened, we want to help wineries network and share what they are collectively learning to identify best practices. This Community Forum is truly designed to help wineries problem solve hospitality implementation issues and capitalize on opportunities presented in our “new normal” world with insights and ideas not only from within NY but also from wine regions across the country.

Series Content & Format
The content for this moderated series is crowd directed, and WISE facilitated. Participants will submit key challenges each session (and these will evolve over the month) and WISE will facilitate discussions utilizing a proven discussion format. This promises to be a solution-focused workshop based on our community’s immediate needs. Each session will be an evolved conversation on the reopening of wineries discussing fears, challenges, and opportunities with WISE facilitating the conversation. Prior to each session, wineries will be able to contribute questions or concerns they have and would like to discuss in their forum meetings. Space is limited for this very interactive forum, with problem-solving resulting in checklists, brainstorming solutions, and road maps at the end of each session.

Who Should Attend?
Winery owners, DTC leaders, and tasting room managers. Facilitated by WISE Moderators.
