In September 2020, the New York Wine & Grape Foundation collaborated with wine writer and educator, Dan Belmont, to produce the revised New York Wine Reference Guide. The guide provides a comprehensive overview of New York’s wine regions, history, climate, styles, and more.
To complement the guide, NYWGF is pleased to introduce a series of short-form videos led by Dan, offering viewers a tasting tour of each of New York’s 11 AVAs. These videos are designed to benefit a wide audience, including winery and vineyard professionals, tasting room staff, marketers, as well as trade members, media, and wine enthusiasts who appreciate New York wines.
Each video session includes a brief AVA overview and tasting component, encouraging viewers to explore the featured wines or similar wines from each respective region. With Dan’s charisma and deep knowledge, the New York Wine Reference Guide comes alive in these engaging videos.
The New York Wine Reference Guide is regularly updated, now including information on the New York Sustainable Winegrowing program and its certified vineyards. We invite you to download your free copy and delve deeper into the world of New York wines.
