Weis Vineyards is pleased to announce the release of Ohne, the winery’s first-ever dealcoholized wine. Crafted from Finger Lakes-grown Gewürztraminer and containing just 0.5% alcohol by volume (ABV), Ohne offers wine lovers a flavorful, premium option for those seeking to reduce their alcohol consumption without sacrificing the experience of enjoying a glass of wine.

As consumer demand for low- and no-alcohol beverages continues to grow, Weis Vineyards is proud to bring a locally produced dealcoholized wine to the Finger Lakes. The name “Ohne,” meaning “without” in German, reflects both the wine’s style and the winery’s German heritage.

Made from the 2024 Gewürztraminer vintage, Ohne showcases a softer expression of the varietal’s signature aromatic character. Semi-dry and lightly carbonated, it delivers a refreshing effervescence that complements its vibrant fruit profile.

The wine opens with bright tropical aromas and flavors of pineapple, mango, and lychee, followed by delicate notes of jasmine and soft florals that add complexity and balance. The result is a crisp, refreshing wine designed for any occasion – from celebrations and social gatherings to everyday enjoyment.

“We’re excited to introduce a locally crafted dealcoholized wine” said the team at Weis Vineyards. “We wanted to create something that still feels special. A wine you can share with friends and family without sacrificing flavor or the experience.”

Ohne 2024 is now available for purchase through the Weis Vineyards online store, in the tasting room, and by the glass or bottle on the patio!
