The New York Wine & Grape Foundation (NYWGF) and the Garden State Wine Growers Association (GSWGA) are proud to announce the launch of their educational partnership, with support from American National Insurance, to serve the winegrowers, winemakers, and winery owners in New York and New Jersey.
This series of webinars is designed to respond to the increasing demand for information on wine business management, marketing, sales, and best practices in sustainable winegrowing. Industry leaders from Cornell University, DTC Wine Workshops, the WISE Academy, and Mengel Metzger Barr & Co. will present each seminar and provide follow-up assistance as needed to support winery and vineyard growth.
Valerie Venezia-Ross of NYWGF said, “East Coast winegrowing and winemaking is unique. Our states have so much in common that we felt it was imperative to join forces to provide these educational resources. The information will empower teams in both the vineyards and in the business office, and we thank our friends and American National for making the sessions available to both the New York and New Jersey associations.”
“New Jersey is thrilled to partner with New York, as both states produce high caliber wines that are internationally celebrated. Thanks to American National, these valuable educational seminars are organized with the intent of imparting knowledge and guidance to our growers on the best practices that support the wine industry,” said Devon Perry, Executive Director of the Garden State Wine Growers Association. “The organization is dedicated to promoting participation in educational seminars for winemakers, winegrowers, and winery proprietors. These opportunities facilitate the dissemination of knowledge to future generations. The association encourages the sharing of insights gained through these seminars to foster continued growth and development in the industry.”
