Make the most out of your efforts, sign up by July 1st!
We are excited for another year of marketing New York wines around the world!
With funding from the USDA Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS), NYWGF has supported international marketing for New York’s wineries for over 32 years. Our staff team, Board Promotions Committee, Marketing Consultants, and Industry Advisory Committee all help to execute the program’s strategy each year.
This is an exciting opportunity that has resulted in significant international sales and media exposure for many New York wineries.
The great news is that the fee to join is affordable ($150 for the first market and $75 for each additional) and you do not have to be a member of NYWGF to sign up.
Wineries can expect to participate in our in-person or virtual seminars, vineyard visits, media interviews, tradeshows, international road trips and more. If you are seeking ways to diversify your markets, this program can help you do just that.
- Quarterly Reporting – NYWGF will provide a standard form through which participants can submit their “Success Stories” related to wine sales, importer inquiries, or media-related highlights.
- Annual Reporting – NYWGF will provide an annual survey through which participants must submit their overall sales, if any, for each Target International Market.
- Product Contribution – Wine must be submitted for events at your cost. Consolidated shipping to international markets will be supported by NYWGF, however, it will be your responsibility to get wine to the consolidation point in New York.
- Time & Effort – Please consider time spent supporting export marketing or educational events, and staff time to coordinate shipping/wine drop offs, as well at time to register your winery and select wines into our online Bottlebooks platform into your “cost” equation.
